We’ve compiled answers to some of the most commonly asked questions to help you plan your attendance and make the most of your conference experience. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, our team will be happy to assist.

​Event related questions

 

Do I need to pay for anything during Connect 2026?

Your registration fees cover, your accommodation (4 nights), breakfast, meals, conference sessions, activities, welcome dinner and gala dinner. Any additional services, room service, movies, mini bar, personal baby sitting or spa services that are charged to your room, will have to be paid in full by the delegate before checking out.

Can I edit my registration once I have registered?

Yes, a link will be provided in the registration confirmation email that will allow you to edit your registration details. Alternatively, please email events@connect26.com.au

How much is the event?

The cost of registration can be found on the registration page.

Can I cancel my registration?

Once payment is received, your booking is finalised. Cancellation requests can be made and will only be considered under extenuating circumstances.

What is the dress code during conference?

Conference sessions: Business casual

Welcome dinner: Smart casual – Theme TBC

Afternoon activities: Comfortable clothing and shoes

Gala Dinner: Theme TBC

Will there be baby-sitting services?

A hotel baby sitting service is available at the hotel. Cost TBC.

CPD related questions

 

Will CPD points be awarded for attending the conference?

CPD will be awarded for all relevant sessions attended throughout Connect 2026. To receive CPD, attendees must scan into each of the sessions so the CPD can be automatically updated to your OnTrack account by mid September.

Who can I contact for CPD queries?

How do I know how many CPD hours I accumulated?

Keep an eye out in the newsletter for confirmation that CPD has been loaded in OnTrack.

 

CPD for Corporate Education Partners

We are able to assess CPD for advisers within or associated with the Rhombus Advisory group. If you are required to complete CPD, you should refer to your own Training Team for the material to be assessed.

Travel related questions

 

Does the registration fee cover accommodation?

Four nights accommodation is included as part of your registration - check in on Sunday 9 August and check out on Thursday 13 August 2026.

Are flights and transfers included in the registration fee?

No, attendees are responsible for arranging and paying for their own flights and transfers to and from the conference.

Additional accommodation for before or after the conference?

If you would like to extend your stay pre- or post- conference, please advise during the registration process in the Accommodation section, and note any specific requests in the 'comments box'. Please refer to the venue page for additional room night pricing.

When do I check in for my accommodation?

Check in starts from 3.00pm at the hotel.

When do I check out from my accommodation?

Please check out of your room no later than 12:00pm on Thursday 13 August 2025.

All additional charges to your room will need to be settled on check out.

Do I need a visa to travel to Vietnam?

Yes all foreigners outside Vietnam must apply for an E-VISA. You can apply for an E-Visa by clicking here via the official Vietnam Government website. Your passport must have at least 6 months of validity after the last day of your trip. Please allow 30 minutes to complete and pay for your E-Visa which will cost $25USD for a single entry. Ensure you allow at least 14 days for processing time before your departure.

 

Payment related questions

 

What methods of payment can be used to pay for my registration?

Payment via credit card (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX surcharge 2.0%), EFT or Revenue Deduction. To pay by EFT please select the Pay later option. An invoice will then be issued and attached to your registration confirmation. The bank account details can be found at the foot of the invoice. Please provide your invoice reference number in the transaction details.

To pay by Deduction from your revenue, please select the Revenue Deduction option. Once registered your Conference Fee will be deducted from your revenue in June.
